How do I get to the ride?

From the east end of Prineville at the last gas station at the stop light at the intersection with Combs Flat Road, proceed 29 miles on Hwy 26. A quarter mile after Mile Post 48, turn right on Forest Road 2630. A sign reads “Marks Creek Sno-Park Crystal Sprs Org Camp”. Look for a sign that reads “AERC Ride”.

There is a restroom at this intersection after you make the turn if you’re in need - TP status unknown.

Proceed up Road 2630 for less than 2 miles. It is usually a decent gravel road, but you’ll want to travel slowly, especially across the two cattle guards. You will turn right into our camp at a well-marked intersection with a "Ride Camp" sign. It's a big camp - park thoughtfully and carefully so even more riders can fit in easily. Check in at the ride office promptly and please stay clear of the well-marked Vet Area. Take a moment to check out our raffle items. Veterinary personnel and horse water available in camp, drinks and snacks on the trail. The grass is belly high on the wild horses and the trails are cleared.

Be part of the magic!
